Anyways, music mix is fine... nice n steady. the flow is good, kinda got a Big Boi thing goin on but with a more steady pad feel with nothin bangin out too much...As Timbo once said "it's one of those joints ya just ride out"

One thing for the singing vocals, ya gotta shine em up a bit with the Yamaha Pitch fix or Autotune whichever ya may wanna use. (I like Yamaha myself-used it for awhile now- the best of us need it every now n then). The vocals slightly waver a bit on those harmonies and the second harmony comes in a bit louder... Maybe pull the "enter my world" harmonies down just a tad? Maybe even try some vocoding, that'd be cool... All in all the rapper has got some skills, maybe throw in some ice sounds or liquid for ambient effects to spice up here n there, who knows?!?! I'm a big hip hop fan so I like to throw stuff in where I can. Keep it up and keep it real!!!

Thanks man... Yeah I could probably benefit from some autotune but I really don't know how to use it properly. It makes everything I try it on sound well... Autotuned

For a song that is "perfect" it is pitchy as heck, and the vocals are mumbled. I can understand one word out of five. Vocals don't ride the music either and end up smothered, and every last harmony vocal is out of pitch.

"Got to get my vocals into pitch... into my pitch..."

The level seems high on the 16th note 'crickets'... plus they are irritating.

Total lack of vocal passion as well. Did you sing this lying down on your back or what? Maybe it was recorded while you were tipsy, I dunno.

Let's just say that the title of this thread should have been "It's Imperfect!!!!!!!"

Thanks Cloneboy I somehow knew if I labeled it the perfect song i'd get some great ideas on how to make it better.

I'd have listened to it anyway, but labeling something as 'perfect' definately is asking for trouble! Of course, trouble was what you wanted.

Good luck on the project. The music is pretty solid for the most part, but the vox definately need work (as they always do).

Yeah, good overall sound apart from some vox. The harmony is horrible. sorry but its true. Sounds like the harmonist is singing almost exactly half a semi tone above the rest of the vox! Keep it up but, sounds quite proish.
Love the snare!! is that a real snare, only kidin. works well for this genre.

Definitely cool sound man, but yeah the vocals on the chorus need to be fixed up. And the verse/rap vocals need to come up a bit I think, should help a bit with the lack of definition in some of those parts. And maybe get some(more?) compression on the vox too, it'll help even out the levels - the end of your phrases trail off sometimes. Nice work man.

I think the mix is really good. The stereo crickets could come down a bit tho. The ambience is really nice, and the overall sound is balanced and pleasing. I can see why you liked the mix.

The vocal issue that's been mentioned sound to me like a single offending track, the center main chorus vocal. It is way out. It sounds like you couldn't hear the mix while you were tracking it, which I bet was the case since lot's of the other tracks aren't too bad.

Really nice song, I'm glad I fired this one up.
