It's metal, but it's not metal...

I like this a lot. The guitar sound is very good and "old sounding". Maybe too much reverb after 2:00. The bigger problem is that sound doesn't go well with the vocals. I'd kill the chorus effect (or whatever you used) in the begining. The reverb is good on the second half, but too much for my taste.

I'll be keeping this one. But you'd make me happy if you posted a remix with less effects.

Thanks for the reply South.

yeah, that effect is pretty thick, it's actually flange. I was going for something weird, kinda bubbly, an underwater effect, but that was the best I could do.

I agree with you on the reverbs. This was my first time really editing my own effects using my Alesis midiverb. I was a little overwhelmed with all the parameters to set. I may take a stab at remixing this again, but probably not for a while. I'm pretty sick of mixing right now, hehe.

I was ok with the guitar sound and vocal as a intro leading into something but it went a little too long for me......i was waiting for it to kick in......the tone did come up on the guitar but the vocal still was a little too thin and puched back for me......

the highlight is the song itself.....i like it alot.....if it was done with better tones it would be awesome......
