Its late I need help with my mixer please

If my adderol wont let me sleep I may as well be mixing/messin with reason. my buddy usually sets me upand I m sure he's fast asleep. I have a behringer 2642 euro rack. My even ps8s are plugged in to the control room outs. I have my phones plugged in to the phone jack in the main section. Question how do I just listen on headphones without the monitors playing i.e muted or, how can I listed on the headphones while the monitors are not on at all? Right now I hear very very quiet sound. should I switch the monitors to the main outs? sorry for not posting this in the newb section.

OK - I have a UB2442 and I can tell you that the headphone outs hear EXACTLY the same thing as the control room outs. Nothing you can do to stop it. You can switch the monitors to the main outs and then they will only get the main mix, then set the control room outs (and therefore headphones) to an aux mix. Of course you could always turn off the monitors until you want to hear them.
