this is the finial list of the equiptment I brought please give feedback.

Yamaha YSTMS50 Subwoofer/Satellite Speakers (80 Watts) (I got these cause I can always upgrade and I figure they are better then the little computer speakers that I have now.)
Marshall Electronics MXLV67G Studio Condenser Microphone
Samson CH700 Closed-Back Studio Headphones
Marshall Electronics MXL57 Shock Mount for V57M Microphone
Monster Cable StudioLink Balanced Interconnect XLR to XLR Cable(I might not get this because its not due untill the 27th of this month, but then again I might keep it and use my xlr-1/4 connector untill it comes then switch and re-record the tracks I do seeing as Im a hip hop artist it would be easy to re-record)
OnStage ASVS6GB Microphone Pop Filter
Hosa Dual RCA Cable with 1/4 inch Phone Plug(This thing looks cheap is it?)

My opinion, the weakest thing on that list is the Yamaha speakers. You should get good results with everything else on the list, though. Monster cables are over-hyped IMO. You can get 2 or 3 good XLR cables for the price of one Monster.

I was looking into that I think I will get a different XLR cable iown know. But for recording should I get HiZ or LowZ cables?

What is a brand of cables that you or anyone would recommend? I would more than happy to post this somewhere else if you think I’m getting off topic of this thread.
