It's been a LONG time...

since I've posted anything here.
Took many months to work on things, and hopefully get a little better.
Believe it or not, I HAVE read the advice of others, particularily sonusman.

Still minimal eqipment - soundblaster live, soundfonts, free fx plug-ins, etc.
Recording a Rode NT1, into a bheringer mixer, all the usual absolute cheapest equipment.
No monitors.
Won't post anything until more eqipment is acquired.
Until then, how is it?

Here's the weird song - You Never Came Home

The vocals are the way they're supposed to be - sighed and defeated.
Am wondering mostly about the reverb on the vox and drums. Too much?
I do know that the end section needs to be brought to a higher level.

Any listens gratefully appreciated.

The dreaded homepage:

Cheap gear is better than no gear...

...and you seem to be using it quite well. Nothing in the mix stood out too much to me.

I did notice some groove/timing issues, especially in the first verse. I'm really picky about that kind of thing though.;)
