My copy of Cool Edit Pro v 2.0 craps out when I add FX to the tracks. Basically, when I add reverb to more than three tracks, the program crashes. Is the program buggy like this?

I am fairly sure that this not my CPU, since my usage runs around 25% when the program is stalled. Also, I have a Gig of RAM which seems sufficient to add reverb to 5 tracks, you know?

What do you think?

With DP4...

you can bundle the 3 tracks together and use the reverb as one, not so in Cool Edit?

Send all the tracks you want reverb on to the same Bus. Then put the reverb on the Bus.

Right, but then I'll have to have the same amount of reverb, right?

Can't you just lock the tracks once the reverb is applied. could just be a buggy install.

You can adjust how much dry/wet is sent from each track to the Bus. What you will have is the same type of reverb not the amount.

Okay! That is perfect.

And maybe it is a buggy install. It does crash sometimes.
