Isolated Vocals

Running a behringer B-2 through a xenox 1202, vocals sound too isolated in the recordings like karaoke or something. should I mic the vocals with the instrumentals all in one or is there a way to mix it so it sounds more blended? btw only have one condenser. Halp plz!
 
You could try to create a sense of space around the vocal with a bit of room reverb.

Also, the vocal could be getting masked in the mix by everything else, so you're
compensating by turning up the vocal. Doing this can make it sound like a singer
with a backing track. Try EQ, boost some presence around 3-5kHz (if need be),
and take it out of the other instruments etc.

Also, try some compression to make the vox sit in a little better.

These are just guidelines though, find what works. It'll sit a lot nicer that way.
