Been taking a break... New equipment in play. Need a sound check to make sure the mix is good so I can start cranking.... If you have the time give it a listen

Sounds pretty smooth. Nice little acoustic break. Going out on a limb here but I'm guessing you're partial to islands?:) The next tune Sunny Side reminded me of Regatta de Blanc. My only criticism of Island Man is the vocal is a little harsh in the upper register
 
Real clear acoustic guitars. Maybe just a bit too brittle.

Bass is really boomy. Needs a low frequency tamed somewhere.

Very nice singing.

Percussion was real good.

Keyboards sound nice. But they get a little buried in spots.
 
Yeah sounds real nice.....just some minor issues.
Bass sounds good, but maybe needs tightening just slightly, hint of compression on it maybe to pull it in?
And as said above, vocal needs treating on those high parts. Take some Hig end EQ off, and maybe add some reverb or double tracking to smooth it out on those parts?
Nice work, and does have a 'Police' feel ( who i loved)!

I love the islands. My body goes there a couple times a year, but my heart lives there all year long. This took me right back. Nice job! Tweak away--looking forward to hearing the "perfected" version!
