Is wavelab 4.0 better than cool edit pro 2.0 for recording?

just try to check the both of them so you check features, interfase blah blah

personally, i think cool edit is better for recording :D

They're different types of programs. Wavelab is a wave editor/mastering program with a ton of features in that regard. CEP is a multitracking/recording application.

You could technically multitrack in wavelab using the audio montage feature, two tracks at a time. You can technically do wave editing in CEP, and in fact it's probably pretty decent at it.

Gotta love CoolEdit Pro2 for recording & editing :)
Fast & reliable in my subjective oppinion.

For me, Wavelab is for finalizing & pre-mastering only :)
