will it do any good? i am in a completely untreated room. but no bass traps or anything in this package.

hey man I just bought that, off of amazon for 60 bucks, free shipping. After I put it up, I could definitely hear a difference in the deadness of my room. I def need to invest in some bass traps though.

I'd start with bass traps. Especially if you have a smaller or square (ish) room.

bass traps should give you enough high frequency absorption, so highly unlikely that you will need foam on top of that.
