Hey man... have you got anything new for us...? :D No pressure or anything... :p (now you know how the pros feel) ;)

I've showed the song to a couple of friends and they all liked it... One of em asked if I could burn a copy of it to CD so he can listen to it in his car... is that OK? Let me know.. thanks.

Great Job! I hope you are making money at this and not just posting your stuff on the web. Your vocal style to me is reminiscent of Donovan...(yes, I'm old) but you certainly have your own style; sincere, compelling and pleasing to the ears.

Yup, I have just finished my dissertation (uni work I have been slaving on for the past month) and I feel good!!!!!!!!!

well, not sure if you really need to hear any more compliments. i think it was almost cheesy, BUT wasn't. well, maybe the bridge. (just a bit) but i gotta say "from a boy to a girl would you be my twin" wasn't cheesy out of your mouth, for whatever reason. you have a cat stevens quality. nice. anyhoo, good job. in my top songs i've heard around this place.

The best I can do is capo on first fret and play it in D...

I'm not that great at guitar...can't figure out your little lick...can you share?
 
off the top of my head

Wes. Slap a capo on the fourth or fifth fret. Play A minor but take off the third finger and use it to progrees around the chord. The first finger stays on all the time. The middle 8y bit is just A minor and E minor and erm can`t remember. I hope that helps. It really is easy....oh yeh, there was also no high E string!

why can't I download the song??

The link keeps taking me to the site but then can't access? Is the site still there or have they changed the free access??

Jerod,

There was an issue that arose on friday that changed the dynamics of NWR. Logins are offline until monday, and I assume you are talking about trying to 'sign up' or login to download the music.

Playbacks will work just fine, and so will downloads if the artists chooses to allow all members to download. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait until tomorrow!

Finally heard the song

Most of it has all been said. Superb! I won't blow too much more sunshine at you but, Erland, you've got a really good talent. As someone mentioned earlier, your voice really FITS your writing style without sounding "strained" or "on purpose".

BTW I am still curious to hear the strings added to the song and was unable to download. Is that for the same reasons?
