I'm planning to buy another condenser mic and phantom power adapter. For around $50, I can get a single phantom power adapter. For $69, I can get a Behringer DSP110 Shark Feedback Filter And Preamplifier. The ad on Zzounds says this is a phantom power, mic pre-amp, di box, noise gate, compressor, and high pass filter....

Does anyone have any adivce on these? Are they good. Will this work as a phantom power? And all those other things it does, compression, noise gate, etc... is that only for the mic that's plugged into it or could I run several mic's into it like when micing drums?

As an alternative to both the items you mentioned, check out the M-Audio Audio Buddy mic preamp/direct box.It is two channels and sells for $80.Check it out at www.americanmusical.com

from what i've heard the sharc is very much a tool for playing live as opposed to recording... its mostly a feedback surpressor... it seems to me it would be a jack of all trades but master of none...
