Really nice vocals!

The only thing (because only good comments doesnt really help :) ) is I'd like to hear more guitar and less tamborine during the chorus

Very, very nice. The drums are sweet... it's a good cover tune.

I'd have liked the singer to use more dynamics in the chorus... The BGVs are nice. Really good arrangement.

I'll give ya 5, so this can get more listens... it deserves it :)

So at $20/hour I assume this isn't a home recording, but I won't bust your balls about that...

The genre isn't my strength, but it sounds pretty good to me. To be honest, I've heard better recordings/mixes done at home on this bbs, but that's probably a matter of taste. Good stuff nonetheless!
 
YEAH it is a home recording

i did it in my basement with my old gear...cheapie mic preamps etc. I charge $20.00 per hour. I just do demos. I'm moving it out to a building to make it eaiser on me and family.
 
I'd say that's a fair price, man...maybe could go a little more...but I'm no pro.

You couldn't have picked a better site. I'm assuming you're updating the file...(go into "Artist Admin," then "Album Manager", then "Singles". Once you see your tune, just click in that little "update file" link to upload the tune.

Hint...make sure the actual file is named something different than your first one was, or it'll wig out. Put a "b" or a number or something after it.

Holy Crap. Very cool. I'd like a tad more presence in the vocal at the beginning....but man, there's not much room left once all of your kick ass elements get going full throttle.

drums sound huge.

Yeah, it sounds like you have things pretty well under control in the mixing department.


You need to put this on your Singles page, though...b/c it'll get bumped off of the NWR front page pretty quick, and i think more people should hear this.
