is this breaking copyright? (can i get in trouble for this)

in the vst hypersonic, i used a sound that has an appregio on it that plays a couple of different keys when u hold it down. it says it was programmed by someone named Mark so am i allowed to use this appregio without getting sued by steinberg or him?
 
If it is included in a VST plug designed to be used in music production software, then I'd say that you can use whatever features it has in music production. Unless it says something specific otherwise in the documenmtation, you're fine.
