I had the job of dismantling and regreasing done for me at the advice of this forum after I was having the same problem of the pinch not responding properly. I got the machine back this afternoon and it's amazing. These machines are definately worth laying out the expense to be professionally maintained.

I talked to rolf about my deck. Looks like I need a 250-350 watt solder iron. I need to heat this sleeve connected to the pinch roller linkage. Apparently theres old grease preventing the pinch roller to spring into action.
