Is this a good usb interface for me?

Hey

I am a looking for a usb interface for my home recording set-up. I saw this on ebay and was wondering if it was any good? -

I am looking to record acoustic guitar, vocals etc and the 6 inputs would be useful for when recording at the same time

If your going to record acoustic guitar and vocals, you will probably be using a large diaphragm condenser mik, which requires phantom power. Go to musiciansfriend.com and look at the M-audio fast track, or the presonus audio box (what i use).

It is a mixer with usb capability. It doesn't say if it will let you record separate tracks or if all the tracks are recorded to one stereo mix. I've never heard of the company but it seems relatively cheap, IMO I would get a name brand audio interface without the mixer if you are going to mixing in your DAW. This is the one I use (http://www.americanmusical.com/Item--i-LEX-OMEGA-LIST) You can do 4 tracks simultaneously to 4 separate tracks. It comes with cubase LE if you don't already have a DAW. Plus you also get the bonus of having midi ports and and the Mic pre's aren't that noisy either. I've bought mine used about 3 years ago and it still works.

P.S. It also works well with sonar 8.
