is this a good sound card for sonar 2 xl multy tracking ?

i am looking into m-audio omni studio. I was given ifo to look at the delta 44. but I need more. Im using a eurorack mx2004a behringer mixer. Does this seem like good combo or am i doing wrong?
 
Why spend money on the XLR inputs and preamps if you're going to use it with the Behringer mixer which already has those features?

Sounds kind of redundant to me...
 
Yup, I agree with brzilian, if you have the mixer already the Omni isn't worth the extra bucks, just go with the Delta 44 or something like it.

What actualy do you mean "I need more" ? Lets see, you have mixer equiped with preamp and balanced out. I think you better pick soundcard with balanced input. On their price range, Delta 1010LT is my favorite :) It has 2 mic pre-amp equiped input which can act as balanced input, along with 6 unbalanced analog input and 2 digital in (SPDIF). PLUS it also has MIDI port unlike Omni, Delta 66 and Delta 44! Extra fifty bucks worth it!
