Thanks... I need this one.
What are your favorite shortcuts?
I like ctrl+Z of course, who can live without that one? Ctrl+S I use after every keeper take and TWICE before closing the project.
When trying to line up bass stops with kick drum, highlighting the two tracks and hitting H is pretty cool.
I use the T and C(cut) functions a lot.
I still want to find a single keystroke that deletes the current take and returns you to where you were so you can try again. That would be the best of all.

You can create your own shortcuts ...

Options/keybindings....match the command with the key combination/bind

Can't you just set up record start and stop points and loop between them. Sonar can create a new track for each loop, letting you select the best after recording. :)

Nope, sucks up too much space too fast and the bands ususally want to listen back after each take anyway.

I set up F5 to undo the last track, and F6 to return to last marker, F7 to add new audio track.

Now when I want to start working on a section, I hit F11 to make a marker, R to record, if its a bad take I hit F5 and then F6 one after the other and I am readt to start again from the same place.
I think I like it.
