I was just wondering if there is a proper terminology for this kind of formulaic rap I've been noticing lately.
Anyway, it goes something like this:
I gotta ___ like ___,
Then you ____ like ____,
I pop you in the face like ____ ,
My hoze be ____ like ____
And basically you just fill in the first blank with a verb/noun/adjective, and then for the second blank you add an asimile / metaphore for that verb/noun/adjective.
My hoze be skanky like my big wanky. I pop you in the face like a yankee. Then you be cranky like Frankie.
That kinda' stuff. Is there an actual term for that kind of rhyme / rapping scheme? Because everyone and their brother (including you, most likely) is using it. Just curious. Thanks!
