is there a easier way of making midi drum tracks

I have ez drummer, and I would like to make some custom drum tracks. I have been trying to find an easier way of making up some drum tracks to go with my music. I have tried the sequencer, and I don't really care for it. Help would be great guys.

Or something with pads if you want to input your beats that way. Avoid the lower-end Akai pads like on the MPK MIDI controllers. Maybe a used Roland SPD-20 drum controller. You can map the EZDrummer samples to the pads and play them irt and record them as MIDI tracks.

Alternatively, you can buy midi tracks from a variety of sites. Free ones are out there too.
