Is the RNC fast enough to use as a peak limiter?

The fastest attack is 0,2 ms, so it`s not quite a peak limiter.
But more than fast enough for me...
I have with sucess used two RNC`s on a very dynamic singer.
The first for some regular compressing, knocking off 4-5dB, 4:1 ratio, then into the other with a lot higher ratio, with a fast attack, to catch the loudest notes.

Would that make it the ultimate meganice mode ?
