Is the Behringer B2 really the NT2 in disguise

These products seem very similar could I be wrong. My choices for new mic are the B2, AT3035, or the NT1. I'm leaning toward the B2 but not sure.

I've heard that rumour several times, but I have never seen it substantiated.

You may want to do a search for the MXL V67, and the Studio Projects C1, in the archives here and rec.audio.pro. These mics seem to be more highly regarded in the price range you're looking at.

I would listen to Lame.....

I own an NT1. It's ok....nothing to write home about especially with whats out there now. If I were going to look at roughly the same quality versus price right now I would seriously be looking at the MXL or the C1. I don't currently own either one but from what I've read around here and elsewhere I would at least be going in that direction right now.

Out of the three, I would go for the B2 anyday....

But, I would definately look into the C1 first..... :)

I would also go for the b2 anyday over the others and I hate the 3035 in fact.

ON the same voice I heard(monty's test, you should listen to it) the b2 sounded really good. A close second to the tlm103 IMHO. I had a certain metal sound in the extreme high end, but that is when it is driven hard.

I thought B2 came out last on Monty's mic test....
