I've been to church. I was raised as a catholic. They might be the unfunniest people ever.

Father Tippy from our parish in Baton Rouge was funny as hell.
And he was quite willing to be funny during mass.

He was from False River though so he was a coon-ass.
He's also now dead so maybe being funny wasn't a good idea.
