is it possible to import a song into fruity loops studio

i want to import my song as a wav into fruity loops producer edition but everytime i do it only imports parts of the song, kindof like its trying to re-mix it for me automatically,. how do i just import a wave straight in unchanged?

Hmmmm, never does this for me, if you open FLStudio, and then open an explorer window, alt tab to the explorer window and drag & drop it onto the audio section of your project and hey presto... Where are the wav's coming from? It may be possible region info is kept with the .wav...
