I have noticed that my sound quality is not that great. Now I am starting to wonder if it is my mixer it is an older radio shack mixer. Do yall think that is the problem??
Well, yes it is a problem but given that you're using an RS mixer I'm almost afraid to ask what else you're using...I'm guessing there are some other gems in your equipment list too.
Don't worry man, everybody has to start somewhere, but you can definitely do better than an RS mixer, even if you're a DJ.
The Pioneer stuff is pretty damn good for overpriced DJ mixers.....
Man, I cannot beleive that the 500 series mixer cost $800!!!
Allen and Heath is making a DJ mixer now!!! Incredible! Very very expensive though....but it does have real channel strips like found on regular mixing boards with the same preamps and eq's they use on their real mixing boards. A&H make reliable, good sounding gear, so it the realm of getting ripped off on DJ equipment, it is probably the best deal.
