From what I remember... "Imagine" was recorded at the 'Record Plant' in NYC... no?

Got a chance to check out that site, DonF.

Just what is a Home Networking Specialists, and how do they get access to all this vintage gear?

Maybe I could become a home network specialist. That would be kewl cuz they get all sortz of authentic Beatles memorabilia. And broken stereos for $1.

I forgot to tell ya, John recorded Double Fantasy at the Record Plant.

check the link out again. It's been relisted. $2000 less and a cut and paste job from a "letter of authenticity". Hey donny, how about a photo of the "letter of authenticity" instead of a cut and pasted image of a photo of a unreadable "letter of authenticity", and a photo of the mic? Both showing matching serial numbers. By the way the description makes it sound like a badly taken care of microphone. Moisture is a diaphragms enemy. Old neumanns that are not maintained well generally sound like shit until they are restored. Can't wait to see the 3rd posting after you don't sell it to see how you modified it in accordance to my posting. later sucka and the sucka ain't me!

$5,500 for a fuckin' KM-84i? Good lord I need better drugs...

But its John Lennon's mic! This piece of history is well worth the money. It even has a certificate of Authenticity to prove it. Any studio owner would be proud to own this classic mic. Go ahead and bid on it. Pay the man in full and post the results of this fine jewel.

I see it's been sold... did you take your own advise and buy it?

FYI, I have nothing to do with this microphone. Just figured out the actual location of the picture, and thought I'd share with y'all so you could see the item you were talking about. Being my usual helpful self. :)
