Very nice! really pleasent stereo spread, clean airy sound on the guitars. Think I would have preferred to hear a bodhran instead of the tom tho :)
 
The acoustic lead could use something - not sure if it's just volume - to make it stand out a bit more. That electric is the opposite - maybe too loud. Other than that the mix sounds good. Nice jig for sure.....
 
thanks guys much appreciated i'm still new to mixing. Yeah we tried the Bodhran but it just wasn't sitting how we wanted it too in the mix. There is no electric guitar in this song just acoustic with effects in certain parts. thanks for the feedback chaps.
 
acoustics sound a little harsh to me. I'd come down on the highs and warm up those guitars a bit. With the tom it's got some bass, but seems to be lacking in the mid warmth.
