Ok here is my Iraq Hate Song.. Dunno why I did it but I did it..

Oh yea, pay no attention to the audio clip in the middle of the song cause I was under the influence of alcohol when I put it in and I forgot to take it out.... Anyway this song is nothing special but I did learn a few things from it and that is what matters....

real good tune! Why was it encoded @96? I cant tell if the nastyness is in the mix or just because of the encoding.. It's hard to get a good picture.. you should put up something encoded @128 at least..

Iraq has done nothing to me personally but I hate everything so they were the target of the day..
 
Way Freakin' Cool Bro! You got the Layne Stanley thing down with those harmonies (one of my fav's BTW). I gotta sit and give it a close listen to catch the lyrics (.sorta listened to in on the fly.. heading out the door here, but I DL'd it and will check it out again later on for sure!

Very cool sounding guitars. Lot's of power in them. Nice sounding harmonies. Good feel to the song.

The harmonies could be tighter in spots - out of sync here and there. There's a ride cymbal or something that's providing a lot of high end "hiss-type" of sound. It's a little distracting, might want to turn that down a bit.

The guitars were a bit strong and overshadowing the vocals a bit. Maybe roll off some lows and turn down the overall level of them.

Good song.

LOL.Yeah I was wondering what that was doing there too....I think scotty said the sound clip was alcohol induced and he forgot to take it out.:D
 
yeah 128 sounds a lot better.. very nice vocal! I thought the rhythm guitar was too loud at first, but I think it's just the snare drum that's too low.. not the cymbals.. mainly just the snare.. and maybe the bass drum too.. vocals are a little low.. don't like the fade in, but I really like the tune!

I listened to 'My Imagination' and it was a great song! I think I remember this one.. love the vocals on both of these, but the drums lack some meat.. not as bad on this one.. more on the iraq tune..

Awesome, strong recording.

I couldn't say the vocal point hit me real well though.

I liked the eeba dappa deeba stuff at the end though.

Thanks for the replies guys! I kind of got lazy on this song and prolly (definitely) should have put some more effort in the vocals.. I will remove that sound clip it still makes me laugh when it comes in cause it has nothing to do with anything..

Fmmahoganyrush, Jamal Bucket, I would put the lyrics up but they are embarrassingly lame...

TripleM the guitars being louder than they should was an attempt to cover up poor vocals.. A no no.....
