Hi there,
Just registered to this BBS and like to introduce myself before overloading yall with questions.
Been fooling around with music for some time now, but finally gonna put my teeth in it for real. At this point I'm at a temporary location, but moving within a couple of months to a new place, where I will be having an attick available to make suitable as an acceptable homerecording studio. (I will need some advice on that in the near future......)
This is the gear I will be starting off with:
PC: Intel P4 2,4 Ghz
256 MB DDR PC333
60 GB HD (5400 U/min)
48x16x48 IDE CDR/W
SoundCard: Terratec DMX6Fire 24/96 (with frontmodule)
Software: Cubasis (wavelab lite included)
Synths: Roland XP30 & Roland Rhodes660
Have to start from scratch with learning how too use this all in the most effective way, so I'll problably have to rely on the knowledge you all got here (wich I will surely pass on to others if needed off course).
So far my intro, you'll be hearing from me again soon.
Greetings from Da Netherlands,
