Hi if I were to get this I could only get two track simultaneous recording correct?

correct.

If I got this would I still only be able to record 2 tracks at a time because it only has 2 outputs?

Thanks.

quote from link:

With the ability to record up to 8 tracks simultaneously, it's easy to capture a live band or even a complete drum kit. The R16 features built-in stereo condenser microphones for field recording or quick, convenient "sketch-pad" capturing of ideas and rehearsals. It also provides 8 combination XLR-1/4-inch inputs along with one Hi-Z input for direct connection of guitar or bass. And the R16 also runs on 6 AA batteries for the ultimate in multi-track portability.

I could only get two track simultaneous recording correct? Because it all comes down to how many outputs you have. Is that correct?

Thanks.

First of all you have to realize that while both have 2 analog outputs, it's what the USB interface in them is capable of that counts.
In the Behri's case, it will export only 2 tracks via USB. The ZOOM will export 8 tracks at a time via USB. The interface in the ZOOM supports more channels out than the Behri.

THis is assuming you are recording to a DAW.
