Flamingo!
So recently, Cubase (studio 4) has been crashing. ("Cubase 4 exe. has encountered a problem and needs to close") I've done everything and I think I've found the problem. It has to do with my interface . I tried different drivers Soundmax., ASIO4ALL, etc. and they work. When I use MOTU audio, it crashes. Not only that, but when I use ASIO4ALL and then try to set the ins and outs of my interface, it crashes! :wtf:

I'm at a lost. What do I do?

Try moving all of your plugins to a different spot (like the desktop temporarily) and see if you still have issues.

I know, goofy suggestion but when I have issues I usually go on the "what plugin is fucking my shit up" ramage.

Did so to no avail.

I did notice some things. When I ran a test through the MOTU in Wpsetup I noticed it said 'sync lost: 17 Test was unsuccessful.'

I also notice that Cubase is fine when I have a low track count. I'm trying to open a song with 15 tracks with no success.

Shitty, I have no idea man. I'm so Windows stupid at this point I'm no help.

Okay thanks for trying!

I may post the error reports to a site full of computer savy people and see if they can find anything :D

I've found the problem!

It didn't have anything to do with my interface (sorta). It had to do with my driver. Cubase didn't like the MOTU driver or even the ASIO4ALL driver. I had to use this Duplex driver. Kinda weird that Cubase would just stop accepting the other drivers. Anyway, the problem is done and I will no longer have sleepless nights over this haha.

Thanks for your help Guitargodgt
