I have just got my first microphone for home recording. I got this dynamic microphone from amazon and now I don't know how to connect it to my computer.

The microphone is this - Nady SP-4C
(search on amazon for it and you will find it)

I got 6.33 mm jack cable with it. I thought of getting a adapter to convert it into 3.5mm and then connect it into my computer mic. jack but some one told me that it cannot be done with out any interface/soundcard.

Now I don't have much expenses to buy any interface, they are lot more expensive. If you can tell me any way to get connect it to my PC without any interface or you can suggest me any cheap interface which can be in my budget.

Buy an adspter and it will work it just wont have the qulity of gettin an interface

An adaptor should get you some kind of recording but expect it to be noisy (a bit hissy in the background) with a possible assortment of clicks, pops and etc. The built in sound cards on computers are designed more for simple stuff like voice chat and Skype phone calls than any serious recording. I looked at your mic but couldn't find any details of impedance etc (and I obviously don't know what type of sound interface is in your computer) but, if there's a mismatch, there could also be issues with level and frequency response.

In the longer term, an external interface is the only way to go for quality recordings.

What's your budget? There's some older cheaper interfaces on eBay that might work for you.

Brother, if you look at the microphone you can see it is a very cheap microphone so I am actually very low on budget can't even afford used items.

How about those USB sound cards? Those little ones which looks like pen drives, have you seen them? I was searching on google and I found about them. They are cheap although but don't know if they would work or not?

These are still not intended for Mic level audio, do you have any type of mixer for the microphone?
