Interface/Mixer Hookup

Hey, I'm currently trying to hook up my Mixer with my Interface(Firewire410). I want to be able to control the microphone, insturments, and speaker volume from the mixer and not the interface. How can I do this properly?


Equipment/software used:
FireWire 410 - Interface
EuroDesk 3242 - Mixer
Samson Resolve 65A- Speakers
Cubase SX - Software
Laptop
 
If you're using the mixer's preamps then you can bypass the 410's pres and use the Line in jacks. You've then got 8 line outs from the 410 which you can route back to different channels on your mixer. Probably best to route Outs 1 & 2 to the mixer's 2-Track input for monitoring purposes
 
The mixer's 2 track input. Would that be named different on the mixer? I have CD/TAPE input outputs but those are RCAs. Others are Main Puts 1 and 2 than alot of other inputs 1-32 llol
