Interface for a mixing board?

I have been looking at picking up an analog console to do my mixing on as opposed to mixing entirely in the box and was wondering what the most reasonable way to get the tracks from the computer to the board and back would be... I need at least 16 tracks of AD and at least 24 of DA..

I've been looking at the Motu 24 I/O but wasn't sure if there was a better option at around the same price range..
