Just saw a video of a band in a studio recording vocals using a tambourine as a pop shield.

Made me laugh, nice effect

how in the world did that work....did he sing throught the middle of it??? lol. I can't see there being enough air pressure to push the metal rings of the tambourine.

I still like the crochet hoop with 2 layers of pantyhose. Works everytime, especially in a pinch!

No idea, it's the UK band "Elbow" and its in the video for the song "ribcage" check it out if you want, funny scenes of them duct taping it to a mic stand

Funny enough I saw videos of a band whose drummer hit a steel box with a hammer and I could not recognized the difference in sound to a snar

Either one of those things could have just been part of the video. It is a video, after all.
