I’m running a 2.4mHz Intel P4, as the brain of my system which runs Logic Audio 5.5
This is the North wood core which doses not support Hyper Threading though my mother board doses:
Question:
Would I notice a difference going from a 2.4 No HyperThreading CPU,
To a ...
3.0 CPU That doses have hyper threading?
It’s not so much the speed difference in the core I’m concerned about: I want to know if the Hyper Threading makes that much of a difference just in itself? Would Logic or any recording program running multiple channels benefit? Has anyone upgraded from a Non HyperTH cpu to a slightly faster chip with HyperThreading?
