installing string ferrules (you know who i'm asking)

yes, i got my warmoth body today.

how do i install the string ferrules.

I use a small brass hammer and a block of wood to cushion the blow. Make sure the hole is the right size first! If it's a Warmoth body and your ferrules are standard, they should fit fine. It's also a good idea to relieve the edges of the holes a bit. I use an old dull countersink bit, but don't put it in a drill, just free hand it. You don't want to do much, just break the edges a bit. If the hole is too tight, you can crack and chip the finish.

Ditto, your Warmoth should be fine. A block of wood and a pin hammer.

If your ever putting string ferules into holes you've drilled yourself or had to enlarge. always test them on a scrap piece of wood first to get the whole exactly the right size. just because the drill has 4mm or 5/6" stamped on it doesn't mean thats what hole you get..

If you need to enlarge the holes a little you can us a make shift reamer of a tapered paint brush handle or similar and sand paper. Enlarging a hole that has already been drilled can be a challenge even for a decent engineer. Work slowly if you have to do so.
