Installing MIDI port

I have looked all over the manufacturers Help sites and on quite a few boards and I can't figure this one out. It's driving me CRAZY!

Anyone know how to install a midi port on a riptide audio card. Is installing a MIDI port just a standard setup, or is it different for each brand of card.

BTW I'm in Windows98

Sounds like you're referring to the driver installation.
Unless you have some oddball card (I've never heard of Riptide) that doesn't come with a physical MIDI port but uses a daughter card for this function.
Did the card come with any software?
Does Riptide have a website?
