installing Amplitube for Protools 6.1

I just got Amplitube, Sampletank SE and T-racks EQ. I have gone through the install and it says everything is complete. problem is that none of them show up in Protools. I feel like even though everything went fine with the install that I missed something importatt. I was never asked for a serial number for any of the plugs (which i have) and I just can't figure out what to do.

can someone please point me in the right direction?

When in doubt, do it again. I would start with ProTools, and check each install upon completion.

My guess is that they were installed in the wrong directory.

PT 6.1 looks for its plugins in a different folder than previous versions and not all of the plug in installation programs seem to be updated. Here's how I fixed it for my computer.

Do search for "amplitube" on your computer to find where it installed it.

Find where PT expects to see your plugs. For me /Program Files/Digidesign/DAE/Plugins works. I think there is another place, but I can't remember where it is at the moment.

Put the mis-installed plugs in the right folder.

Should work the next time you start up Pro Tools.
