Hi Gang

I'm new to Cakewalk and have a few questions,

I bought Sonar XL 2.2 last week to get a deal on Sonar 3 Producer when its out in UK, I've not installed it yet and wonder is there any advantage in doing so, or should I wait and just install Sonar 3 when I get it, is there anything in 2.2 thats not in 3 ?

I've already got Cubase VST on my system and don't want to many Apps installed.

Also how do you guys run 2 Monitors with Sonar, I have a Dual Head card and 2 TFT Monitors.

Thanks

Trev.

Yes, the DR-008 if you got the XL version... :)

I have the Track View and the "main program" (the track view is not floatable) on my left monitor and the Console and Piano Roll on my right monitor...

What is DR-008, is it any good ? and could I install it into Sonar 3, without installing XL 2.2 ?

Cheers

The DR-008 is the best drum-sample player around (IMHO ;)). And yes, I believe you can install it seperatly if you choose "custom installation" or something like that.

Thanks Lads

Now what are these Acid Loops and Midi Groove Clips and how do you use them ?

Cheers
