yes. She did some really live recordings that I enjoyed.

This song is 2 tracks, recorded live take. I added a third later in the song. This is a strange song, I wrote it this morning in 20 mins in bed, the guitar had its third string missing so I only use the top two. No joke, but I think its quite cool! I recorded it in that same hour.

After I added some reverb on the laptop and now I`m posting it! Love the internet.

If you have 3 minutes, it would great of you to check it out.

13. might never see

A Reply to my last thread. Thanks for checking that out chaps.

Qwerty. yes it was a really strange track. I was just having fun really by layering on lots of vocals and reversing things on the wav editor. I should develope it into a proper song, good points man. You know its the four track and guitar though, cheers Q!

sjcrts. your right man I will keep on posting but Tuesday brings a change to things. Later and thanks.

TheRealWaldo. Sorry, couln`t upload or delete songs and having difficulty sending payment to you for unlimited space for 6 months.

Hi B.SABBATH, thats true, sorry about the panning and it should be a full song, its just I did it reall quick. I should post a proper version. Cheers for listening though.

IanW-UK. Lol. Cheers for the nice words and saying hi on the site. I send you a copy if I finish!

Erland:)

mean tune man. Its real cocky and tight. The lyrics flow.. I get amazed..

cool

Hey Toki987 thanks for listening so quick. there is defintaley a few cock ups. Nice!

Erland,
Dude, you are amazing! I really like this tune and it's not because of the inspiration. This could very well be a hit! I was hearing all kinds of parts in there. Excellent piece of work!

oh this is very nice erland! i really dig when you play such a pronounced rythmic line on the guitar. your rythm overall is usually so tight that you really don't need drums in your music.

oooooooo, i like that ending. i like abrupt endings!

this is one of your better ones for sure imo.

nice job. i'm gonna listen to this in the car tomorrow.

i just listend to this about ten times.

i retract my statement about not needing drums. i think you need a full drum circle on this. :)

Great stuff, love the way it comes out of the chorus. Has a great vibe too..........

Outstanding!
Singing was great, excellent phrasing and embelishment. Guitar part was great too, I can hear the ispiration in the track. Didn't miss the missing string at all.

Only compaint is that the giutar sound was a liitle twangy.

Good one!

Doug

Guitar was a bit slappy and bright, but it had a tude all it's own! lol

Vocals / lyrics.....Love em.

Song is right in your face and yeah, cocky :D

I could hear an electric version with bass and drums in my head. Not that I'd wanna take away from the original attitude and feel, but this song could very well rip a head off with some distorted guitars lol.

Very cool Erland, that muscle flexed again mate, and punched me in the nose.

I really like this song. The guitar does sound a little like my sis's kind of rhythm, I don't know if that's what you meant or something else, but either way I dig it. Also love how you hit the word MIGHT. In case someone was wandering off, you get 'em right back with that. Anyway, way to go man!

not bad, not bad.........you're doing a good job keeping up with your challenge.....keep it up

hey, Erland

wow, can't believe you are up to #13 already:eek: Sorry, I've been real busy moving, cleaning and packing to go home lately, so I haven't had the time to listen and respond to your newer tunes. But, I did download all of them and sure will be enjoying them once I get to Taiwan.

You have a good summer

Hi bdbdbuck, well that was a real nice thing to say. yeh its just two tracks with a third and very very rough but I rechon there is a song there. thanks for checking this one out. Cheers for the motivation.

erichenryus. Cool, glad I aint hurting your ears yet, mind you the next one will! thats really strange, becasue I spent bugger all time on this, not even a morning. Ahh well, thats the way it is. i like the end too becasue it is exsactly 3 minutes long. Thanks, I want drums for sure and a bass.

Swede. Well thanks you. By the way I am coming to Stockhom before or just after Chritmas to see friends. Should be a blast. thanks for listening.

hi IanW-UK, thanks for the listen. Strange song, two string vibe, nice. thanks again.

Doug H. Well cheers for taken the time to listen and reply. veryu nice of you to say, its real rough but i like it that way. i think the singing is out of tune many times. the guitar has anew E string and was only played with the two strings. It had a bit of a thrashing the night before. Thanks again, i will keep on posting.

Hi sjcrts. Lol. Sorry about your nose. You bet it was slappy, twangy, sounded terrible but it had alittle rythem of its own. Thanks for checking this one out Scott. i would lov some bass and drums for sure. Cheers.

Hola okobd, excellent. thanks for having a wee listen. That might is a bit of a shocker, thats cool. yeh i was listeing to your sister (your the brother? groovy) and also Crawdads daughter. very good live music. Cheers.

powderfinger. Nice, nice. I will keep em coming but tommorow everything is upside down, 4 weeks on the road. Second leg of the challenge. Later.

A1A2. hi Al, Cheers for that man. Yeh cool, havea groovy summer too! talk to you soon I hope.

thanks alot guys, Erland.

Darn It!!!

I can't listen to anything from this computer!!! Man, I should have checked to the forum last night!!! I am plugging in as soon as I get home to listen to this!!! Man, I am away a few days and look what happens!!!
I am glad I inspired you ;) Can't wait to hear it. You'll be hearing from me soon :)

Erland - have you ever listened to Nick Harper? This one comes close in ways to both his sound and his delivery. That's high praise. Solid guitar playing and powerful singing. Also, I have no idea how this'll strike you, but that refrain with the refrain puts me in mind of Oasis.

The sound's really good - do you ever do mixes of anything other than guitar and voice?

nice.

Hi bdbdbucksKID, great. Hope it sits well with you but its rough mate.

Hi dobro, firstly thaks for having a listen. I dont know Nick Drake but I have looked him up before becasue soemone else said that. However, when I was 14 I learnt to play the guitar I suppose by playing along to oasis B sides (acosutic of course). So well, there you go. Cheers again. I only have the accoustic guitar and the fourtrack, did you glance my challenge site? However I would love to try piano if ever I am close to one. What do you think of this next tune, its going to hurt your ears I think.

Erland

No, no - Nick *Harper*. Nick Drake's very good too, though.

HUGE LOUD HARMONIES RULE!!!!

Anybody who doesn't hear "greatness" in this is just...ummm... (being careful soas not to offend)... REALLY FUCKING LAME AND DUMB!!!

I swear, I haven't read any of this thread, so if somebody commented negatively, this was NOT a personal attack or anything. My opinion is that this is great.

God, I hate you, Erland. :D
