Inspire or Firebox??

How would one record 4 instruments simultaneously with the Firebox? It appears to me that the XLR and instrument imputs are combined
Also, is the Firebox $100 more than the Inspire because of the MIDI and digital inputs, and the knobs, or is there some other reason?
