I think trying to repair it with all those SMD components and the USB piece is going to be too much work. How much modding do you want to do? If you have an interface with a conventional XLR and phantom power you could gut the thing and just make an Alice mic out of it keeping the capsule. hi. thank you for reply.im using the fifine k669 usb mic sadly is a usb not xlr one, it looks like the mic on this post. i saw the advice from mshilarious #2 and #3 , but i don't understand how to do it. the picture he sent in #8 was deleted for some reason. I want to try what he said to see if it can reduc the ground noises ( it sounds like an old tv's signal noise) . can you help me?
