How do i shut of the verb when i just plug my guitar in?

I plug in my guitar and no matter what insert effect I use, I have verb. The verb isnt there after I record as it is not part of that patch.

I tried turn down on the sends for the lop effects and same issue.

It seems to only be when monitoring my input..

How are you monitoring it? Speakers directly into the BR600, headphones?
Press EFFECTS
Use cursor to go to LOCAT
Turn Time/Value knob
NORMAL - applies effect as it records, this is what you hear
REC DRY - you hear the effect, but the effect does not record
TRACK 1-8 .... the effect is applied to the playback of that track(s)
RHYTHM - effect is applied to the rhythm track (drums)
MASTER - effect is applied to all tracks on playback (use when adding an effect when mastering/bouncing)
Press EXIT to leave this part of the f/b bank - it will stay in the mode you left it!

Maybe the recorder is in MASTER or TRACK mode?

By default, a small amount of reverb is applied to the input.

To remove the reverb:

1. Press the LOOP EFFECTS button.

2. CURSOR to "[REV]", and press ENTER.

3. CURSOR left to IN Send.

4. Turn the TIME/VALUE wheel clockwise to reduce the value to zero.
