Hello guys,
I'm mixing a song in Cubase 5 and I have this problem which I can't solve.
I've set up a parallel compression for a kick drum and toms. The routing is standard: a Group channel (stereo) with Waves' RComp Mono, and the channels (mono) have a send to that Group channel with a pre-fader on.
I don't know why, but one of the lines in Insert routing is broken. This affects the stereo field. The channel with a continuous line is louder then the other one.
I tried RComp (Stereo) - both lines are broken, the kick is centered, but other three toms, (also routed to Group channel) which are panned left, slightly off the center and right, are screwed and sound in mono.
I'm sure it's me setting up the parallel compression wrong, because when I turn it off, the stereo panning is just as I want it.
Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!
