Hello.

Here's a Newbie in this forum. First of all i want to say hello to all of you, and thanks for this forum.

I have a problem in my Cakewalk Pro Audio 9. When I want to insert a Wave file, it gives me the message Out Of Memory.

I know I have memory enough (128 Mb), and i'm used to have songs with 8 or more long audio tracks, so it seems to me impossible that my system has no memory enough to insert a normal audio file.

Thank you

Jon

Sounds like your hard drive is a bucket of goop. Clean out those unwanted temp files - you might have a gajillion of 'em.
In windows go start/accessories/disk clean-up. Also in CW go tools/clean audio disk. And if it comes down to it you may have to make some decisions about what to keep and what to let go.

Thanks, but... that's not

Thanks a lot for your reply, but I have 2 Gb free in my -hard disk. I really don't think it's a resources problem.

I knew there was a good chance I'd be totally wide of the mark. Still seems strange though, are you changing audio formats without incident? As well as exporting waves and recording O.K.?

I record very well

Hmmmm

I record very well in lot of tracks. I both use mono and stereo files, always in 44 sampling. That's very strange, isn't it?
