Hi,

I just downloaded the N-Track demo and am getting acquainted.

Are there really no input level controls?

i assume you mean setting the volume from your mixer/mic to your soundcard. You can do that through the "windows mixer" volume settings...and with ajusting your mixer, or whatever you have going into your soundcard.

In most cases you should leave the input at 100% in a digital system.

At any rate, I think you can do this on a track per track basis by first adding a track, then arming it for recording, and then adjusting its volume.

slack, you mean the windows mixer line in should be set all the way up?

I'm saying that it's ideal to not touch digital faders going in or out of the system. It's best to leave any input controls at 100%, and output controls at 100%. Control levels to and from the system with analog devices (preamps in, mixer out, whatever). So in a roundabout way, yes, that's what I'm saying.
