Hi there. I am uploading this from a tiny wee cafe in Spain. I hope it works!

I had a hangover after a night or so of.....

Just a really quick 2 minute song that really is quite nuts, really...
Everything is one take but I think it sounds liver this way, straight from the big echoy room. It is kindof wierd but I think on a second spin sounds quite cool...

Anyway, if you get a chance. What do you think?

Very good tune erland.I really like the melody and your vocal is great as usual.Anti-war peace song?Thats what I got from it.Maybe Im stoned off of this cough syrup and the song is about dragons or something.LOL.Really nice tune man.
 
i like the natural reverb in this. i generally don't like reverb but this sounds real good.....cause it's real!

levels sound real hot. maybe too hot.

did you catch marcomb and davidk's remix of your last tune?

You're gonna think I'm nuts but I could hear Zeppelin doing this. A lot of your tunes would lend themselves well to a rock arrangement and this one begs for it. Maybe someone should do this for the March challenge. Maybe me if I finish Chris' tune in time and if you were to give me your permission.

I just spent... oh... 600 bucks on new gear just so my stuff wouldn't sound like such trash anymore... and if it doesn't start sounding at least half as good as you and your 100 dollar condensor mic, then I'm going to burn my entire apartment down, and all my gear along with it... (and that includes the Taylor, and no... mix... you can't have it. :p)

Sounds pretty decent man. That vocal break was great. I'm still amazed at the vocal clarity you get with that mic... sheesh.... did I mention that I hate you?

He almost sounds like Robt Plant in a way too.. add the sitar, tablas....

hehehe ..harmonies kill...waaaaaaay too short tho..


i like the buildup as well it finishes way faster than it starts looove that....im sick of everything sounding so regimented.
man this sounds so efforless....like its fun ..man i need to find that again.....

NIce tune per usual dude!

The back-up vox really drive the big dynamics you get out of such a stripped down production.

Why bother with the git on the right at the very end?

Simple and solid.

This has a very Buzzy Linhardt feel to it. If you haven't checked his work out- do so!

I think you had the vocals a bit stressed in spots. It was plenty loud throughout so I think you had some room to play with those artifacts. Basically my theory is that you could have nailed this by just backing off the mic physically- but that's easier said than done.

very nice sound. really clear. what's that mic folks are saying you have? did you do all the harmonies? what kind of guitar? and room?

A lof of attitude and has a groove. on first listen i didn't get all the lyric. Can't comment on song.
 
the acoustic sounds great......what kind of mic do you use? the vocals are also very solid........
