Inline pads

I have a pre without level control and need a pad, but my searches are yielding very little. Does anyone know where to buy these? I'd prefer one with variable attenuation.

mshilarious makes some but i don't think they're variable. they're cheap though.

Did you try using the word "attenuator" in your seaches?

At Sweetwater they have some ProCo fixed pads: -10, -20 and -30dB.

I tried every combination of inline/attenuator/pad in addition to searches at the big online stores.

I don't recall ever seeing any with variable attenutaion, but they must be out there somewhere. I'll bet they're not cheap, though.
