Inherited a lot of classic home-musician gear I know zero about being an engineer.

Just a ole fat ex mixmaster and a couple bear-cub disciple wannabe's if I'm lucky being my main disciples is out of town back East on family emergencies - where presumably there is pop and pizza for fuel.

Going in the morning to take pics you guys can tell me how to upload em and what to charge for what being if I google eBay they are always overpriced according to most people.

If I get disciples to help me lug things to get to stuff in the back we'll get more done, but I don't expect any self respecting young and chubby engineering wannabe to want to be up and out that early in the morning without no Papa John's that don't open up til ten, being all the skinny and/or muscular guys will all be busy at the gym at that hour of the morning.

P.S. You probably didn't even get the reference cuz you're too young - doo doo doo doo doo....
 
You're a funny guy. Maybe I'll check back in a week and see if you're hungry to make a sale by then. ;)
 
This is hilarious. We all hung around here, waiting on a list, and in the meantime, got an education on crows and a few laughs.
 
It's probably 20-year old DJ gear...or a Karaoke system! :laughings:

A) Not HUNGRY to sell anything in any capacity. Just wanna get it out of my storage.
B) I get paid whether I help you guys out or not.
C) I was gonna go over this morning and take pictures of a few things, but if you guys wanna act like spoiled children, you can just wait til I get time and people to help me go through everything properly.
D) At least the BSN and QQ forum guys VOLUNTEERED to help sort instead of whining and crying like spoiled little babies and going so completely off-topic as to be ridiculous ``just to get a laugh''.
E) They warned me about the calibre of guys on this forum - or in this case - the lack thereof - and their numerous attitude problems.
F) Maybe I'll just give it all to the appraiser kid that came by Monday night, trade him for a steak dinner for four and make him hire his own immigrant labor force to load his own trucks and drag everything to E-Wast like he said. <<looking over the top of his glasses like somebody's father>>.



G) <<continuing looking over the top of his glasses in a LONNNGGGGG unpleasant silence>>
Take your meds, people, and have your care staff call me when the grownups return to the room and I'll go over and take some pictures and we can continue.

And if the buyers act like that it's no wonder eBay removed sellers being able to leave Negative Feedback for buyers from all the problems - and lost over half their sellers in the process.

People who whine and cry and get into this whole Mister Me Gimme Mine Now attitude - that's called Unwelcome Bidders and Buyers which fortunately eBay still lets you block.

Keep it up kids, and it'll all go to E-Waste with the ``appraiser'' kid on Tuesday and my brothers and I will be eating Cattleman's 96 oz Steakhouse on Tuesday night.

Then when the next story about Sub-Saharan African kids getting sick from melting down all that metal from the U.S. E-Waste in a sweatshop so they can sell it and make their little three cents a day for bread gets reported on TV, then whoever's been whining and complaining can take comfort in the fact that their actions contributed to the cause of the sickness of these little kids in third-world countries.

Guess the guys on all the other engineering forums were right.
It just keeps getting proven to me over and over.

If you really had something...it would have taken you about one day to throw up a list (even to do some pictures)...even without prices just to start things off, instead you've wasted a lot of time on this thread just talking about it, and now you are starting to get argumentative.
See the guy in the thread "Turnkey studio for sale. Over $100k in gear"...1-2-3, he put up a list, added prices the next day, and he's already selling stuff (serious audio gear).

I've been selling and buying audio gear on eBay for about 12 years....so I know what the real deal is when I see one. ;)

the random discussion in this thread is akin to people standing around out front shooting the breeze while they wait for the music store to open... but the owner keeps popping out and saying - oh... I will get around to opening soon I swear, just a few more minutes. Then the peole are like - come on we been waiting out here for eva.. and they owner is like - keep it up and I will never open -i will give all this great stuff in here to some kid who is bringing me lunch... AND i wont even tell you what any of it is - but its really great, now quit loitering on my sidewalk - and the kids are like - this is public property dude - and you are in OUR neighborhood - we lived here for years - you just come and CLAIM your opening a store but then never open WTF?

I got to read this lovely thread and I think you misunderstand the nature of this forum. It is more relaxed and it is normal for threads to go off topic while waiting for the topic to happen!

But there is no reason to call people here cry babies and spoiled just because you were told on other forums that this is the 'caliber' of the people here. You posted a 'sale' you planted the bait, people took it, and patiently or impatiently waited for the goods. So don't be surprised if they start pulling your leg if the goods aren't delivered.

Now let's all put this behind us and move on with the topic. OK?

This sack of cow shit has been viewed as a troll for about a week now. You were spot on about it being a seller's market. I'd like to buy an 8-track recorder, but I'm not going to endure this idiot's endless crap to get one. I don't trust him. Ban his ass.

There's a bunch of TASCAM decks on eBay right now and from the last week or so....the 1/2" tape, 8-track type....
...or do you mean digital recorders or the small "porta-studio" cassette recoders?
